Often, the ways we behave are our reaction to a trauma. Trauma is a way of organizing ourselves that we have found in order to restore a balance that has been disturbed. Trauma can be anything that has hurt us or altered our values.
Trauma always refers to a relationship, and its healing takes place within relationships. One of these is the therapeutic relationship. Through the therapeutic encounter, we recognize what has been wounded within us and reflect on the dynamics that create this blockage, in order to explore together what each person wishes to do with their personal story.
